great deal.. I have a Hisense 43" 4K in the bedroom, couldn't be happier.

Any clue on how this would perform as a basic 4k monitor? Looks like it has HDMI 2.0, but there's very little information on this set.

I would recommend the Hitachi Set.  I have one.  Very good quality. May have a bit more reflective screen but very sharp.  Its 50 inches, but has the roku stick included.

Some of the off brands look good too...but the concern is the breakdown history and warranty issues.  

Also when you watch movies with black bars...the space lost makes it 43 inches viewable...so you might as well as get the 50 inch.
