You don't have to use a Visa with Visa checkout. Discover, Amex, MasterCard all work as well if you have other cards. VCO is just a wallet service.

Best Buy: "*Online offer valid through 12/25/16 or while supplies last and is only available in the U.S. when displayed on www.bestbuy.com/visacheckout.Discounts not available on gift and prepaid card purchases, services purchased and/or taxes paid. No cash value. Limit 1 offer per customer. We may terminate this promotion at any time without notice. Discount will be automatically applied to a qualifying BestBuy.com purchase of $100 or more when you select Visa Checkout as your payment method. All digital items require you to sign up for or sign in to a BestBuy.com account."
I'm thinking of getting a Nest thermostat. $199 less store credit (eg Kohls cash, Staples rewards, etc) was the BF price at several stores. $176 at Target right now. $199 - $25 would be ok and 2% back via SAH. Any other ideas for lowering the price other than cc % back?

Maybe the browser has some issue. I tried IE and it did not work. It works fine when using Google Chrome browser
idlezork said: This seems like a great deal if I can stack the Visa Checkout for Staples offer with $20 back for $100 from AE offer. Not sure exactly how this Visa Checkout rebate works though. Staples VCO has been dead for days. VCO is not a rebate. It's a discount to the purchase price which should show up before you pay.

I backed out because I didn't see the $25 taken off during check out. Probably dead because it's instant at checkout. When I went to BestBuy to pick up my Homes, there was a pile of them with pickup slips attached...so many people ordered at $74...
