Why wouldn't I get this one for $29.98 that I can just pick up in a store rather than a special order from a third party that costs more? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ematic-HD-TV-Motorized-Outdoor-Antenna-with-150-Mile-Range/46998188

The antenna you mentioned is also available on Amazon:  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004NQMCDK

but then so is the cheaper one I mentioned (temporarily out of stock):  https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B018M8LDXE

Wow. The Amazon ratings on this antenna are harsh.

I think this only works in an airplane. According to the calculations at http://www.davidsenesac.com/Information/line_of_sight.html you would need to be 14,500 feet up to get a line of sight at 150 miles away. That would be minus the height of the transmitter tower, so even if that's 2000', you would need to be 12,500' high to get a TV picture at that distance.

This antenna, or a very similar model is easy to find on eBay for $25 (or less) delivered.  They even sell them at my local Ollie's for $20.00

Shop around before spending $35.00
