I'd say probably not.  They are both dual cores, one 2.5ghz vs 2.7ghz.  Boost clock on the i7 is also a bit higher, but most people will not notice a difference.  Especially since  this is more of a productivity laptop, than something to game on or do extensive tasks.  I'd save the $80.

These are both dual core "U" series processors, which are meant more for long battery life than heavy duty work.
