Yes, I'm always baffled by folks who pay a credit company to use their credit card on which the company makes a fee.  Don't even get me started on store gift cards which DECREASE in value the longer you hold the card.

The Brother printer is a great printer; just wish the wireless version was this price.

We should have a FAQ that we c/p into the QS each time Visa prepaid deal rolls around...
- There is not a $300 prepaid card.  You have to purchase a $200 and a $100 card.  $13.95 in fees and earn $20 rebate.
-  If you earn 5% back on your credit card, better deal is to buy 2 @ $200 for $400 total.  $14.95 in fees.  $1 more in activation fees for $5 more in credit card bonus.
- Yes, the register accepts Staples visa rebate cards as payment but YMMV whether the cashier/store will accept them.
- No they do not count towards your annual spend to earn Plus or Premier status.
- This deal is best for those who have a credit card that gives a bonus w/ purchase or for those looking to consolidate/cash out rebate cards.
-  The prepaid visa cards can be used to purchase money orders in certain stores.

  Done!

I could have done that.  The challenge is finding this week's thread & QS the next time they offer rebate on prepaid Visa cards.
Have you ever tried to find an expired deal thread on FW?  Is it expired?  Is it archived?  Is it still in HD?  Good luck with that.

Unless they recently changed, the fees are $5.95 for $100 and $6.95 for $200.

$200 + $100 = $12.90 fees
$200 + $200 = $13.90 fees

Trick is NOT to search on FW itself but do a Google search and add fatwallet at the end of the search term.

I'm always baffled on people who make such dumb remarks. While the Chase ink plus card has a $95 annual fee, it gives you the ability to transfer your points to airlines such as SouthWest and it earns 5 points per dollar at Office Supplies stores. The fee is well worth it.

Chase Business Ink CC has NO FEE and gets you 5% at business supply stores, cable, phone and internet so between my 5% Staples Rewards as a premium member and 5% Chase Business Ink cash back, it well covers the tax and makes some of the deals real MM.

20 Rebate VISA + 20 CB from Amex Simply Cash for me.

how do you convert the AMEX cards to cash?

rated:
amex simplycash card is an amex business card that has 5% back (the monthly cashback is a statment credit)

Thanks OP. I just ordered the 3 McaFee AV. Eb a t e s said 8% CB. I accidentally wasted $5 Rewards because I added it during a previous session. This year, I made a nice spreadsheet to track all Staples purchases/rebates.

Am I right that the only paper for <$1/ream right now is the Cynthia Rowley at $1/3 reams? And is the only difference the fancy box and wrapper? IOW it's just ordinary paper inside?

Thanks!

I wonder why McAfee AntiVirus 2017 is not getting much traction here.
I mean after Rebate and Eb a t e s 8% CB it should be free and if you add 5% CC CB then a MM.
What am I missing here?

  Is it still 8% CB at Eb a t e s? I am seeing only 2%
I will do it just to get my yearly spending to $500.

Thanks for the heads up on the VISA GC rebate - I didn't see it on the weekly ad. Went in tonight and the cashier just let me swipe my cc without intervention, so I instantly whipped out another prepaid VISA card in my wallet to pay for most of it. The system has no problem taking prepaid GCs to pay for another prepaid GCs, as long as the cashier or store mgr doesn't get all upset by that.
