$2.99 = receive in one week; 99c = receive in one month.

$.99 isn't for the Magnetic air vent.

Have you checked your link? $0.99 is for the Non-Slip Pad. The Magnetic air vent mount is for $3

If you're referring to C $.99 then you're right, but that converts to about $2.30 US dollar.

It may be a dumb question but do these affect you memory cards?

Iphone not included

Won't sticking a magnet to your smartphone have adverse effects on it? especially on the inbuilt compass that map apps rely on?
maybe I am just being paranoid.
See the explanation on this website http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/how-magnets-really-affect-ph...

Based on my experience, magnetic air vent mount is waste of money. The weight of the phone pulls the vent down. No other way to maneuver or align in the direction you need/want. Just buy a dashboard or windshield mount one.

I have this and I don't really suggest as the phone gets too close to the air vent and gets hot. My iPhone alerted me few times.

I have two and both work great. One is iTD and I like it better because it has different gap width depending on how you install it. Fits very snugly. The other one I don't recall the brand but works fine too. When properly installed these things don't fall off (YMMV depending on the air vent construction). Certainly a life saver in the states that require the phone to be physically attached.

Oh, no effect on GPS that I could notice. The only thing I haven't checked is if the metal plate I had to attach to the phone affects NFC in any way.

Agreed.. but these are probably the best phone mounts for my car.  I do have to turn off the Vent that it's attached to.

Fits perfectly for 2013+ Lexus GS

magnetic mount may not be good for the compass and credit card. You can be even cheaper than $0.99, what about free here:

i have two of these. The main issue I have is that the metal plate (which I stuck inside my phone case) made my wireless charging unreliable. I ended up having to slide the plate down toward the bottom of the phone so that wireless charging would work correctly. But that made the phone top heavy when stuck to the magnet. In my car this wasn't an issue because there was something to the left of where I have it to lean my phone against when stuck to the magnet. But in my wife's car I have to hang the phone upside down or it will end up flipping anyway.  But even still, I love these things.

I swear by these magnetic mounts. I gave these to all my family and friends, not one has complained of reception/gps/compass/bluetooth degradation. I have used this on a S3, S5, S7, LG G3, LG Stylo 2+  -  No problems, all phones in cases. Magnets are strong.  These mounts are so much safer than trying to finagle other mounts where you have to push this pull that squeeze here, especially while driving.

If you use heat, then yes, turn off that vent where you have the phone sitting in, it will overheat, what'd you expect? In most cars there is a vent air flow control knob somewhere. There are some cars that this just won't work in, when the vents are awkward or in strange positions. So take a look at your vents and see if you want a phone there.

I am in FL, so most of the time I have A/C on - I keep the vent slightly opened - keeps the phone nice and cool when the screen is on and charging.

Not sure if trolling or not...  If you can't spend <$10 on a proper & safe mount then you probably shouldn't even have a phone.

Those solutions looks absolutely awful

Some cars don't have separate "dials" for closing the vent.  In my car you have to slide the vent all the way to the left to close it.  You can't close it all the way or the mount can't reach far enough in to get a grip on the vent flaps.

My understanding is that magnets and electronic devices are not friends!

agree it does not look the best, but I think it is quite easy and functional, the best it is free. And please don't insult people who can't spend $10 on fatwallet.

Yep, hit a pothole? There goes your phone. I know they are like all neat-o and stuff, but this is 1000x better. Rock solid, years later.
