The signal is very, very weak and the connection is quite unstable and jittery even a firmware upgrade. So I think you'dbetter not choose it.

I am looking to get a newer router. I currently have a western digital my net 750. It still works without issue, would this
be a good upgrade? if not how about the netgear ac1750 which is alot more money? Any thoughts?

Works great and love the small size and shape (no ugly antennas sticking out). Router admin security PW is not enabled by default so make sure you enable this as well as anti-spoofing feature, etc. Great price too.

Good router but its range is very limited.

If this is for a home environment, and considering the specs of your WD Mynet 750, you probably wouldn't see any difference in performance.

Yes this is for home use. I have a 18 year old who streams via twitch, a few laptops being used and a roku for watching netflix.
can you tell me if the nighthawk AC 1750 would be better? I also have time warner as a cable provider, paying for the extreme internet
package. Any advice as to which ac router would be best for my situation? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks
