YETI are “premium” coolers made with high end materials that rarely go on sale. Looks like a good deal to me based on the prices.

I could never justify paying these prices for a cooler. That being said I know a guy that swears by these things.

  I agree with you. I'm sure your friend swears by his, he has to justify overpaying for a cooler. I have a Yeti clone that I bought at an auction for $20, held ice for 7 days. But properly packed with pre-cooled items and most any cooler will do well too.

  But how many can blend ice making instant margaritas at the beach or campsite?

Went to Coachella, and a styrafoam cooler worked fine. The block of ice I used barely melted during the 4 days.

Steep price - but i have a yeti tumbler and the thing is awesome.

Ice lasts a full 24 hours if i just leave it in cup and don't do anything.

The 65 quart is $10 cheaper at Costco and is white in color...$349

  It's an Ozark Trail, a store return that was at a local auction.

$200+ cooler to keep $2 bag of ice.

For most people the best approach is to buy more ice.

Yeti coolers are for people doing things where buying more ice isn't an option.
