Valid Sunday 5/21/17 through Saturday 5/27/17

So which is it, 5/7/17 - 5/13/17 (which is already over) or 5/21/17 - 5/27/17?

Unless you have a time machine it's pretty obvious as per the title of the post. Isn't it? or you just like to pick the typos?

It's more of a surprise that Staples is repeating the offer so quickly. Am used to seeing it repeat after a few MONTHS, not a bit over a week later.

I never saw a thread on here for the 5/7/17 - 5/13/17 offer, but I saw an actual sign for it at the GC rack of a Staples B&M on 5/14/17. I was ready to jump on the deal until I realized that it had expired the day before.

rated:
When I received the topic alert email, my first reaction was that someone posted an expired deal.

reminder to use up the SER Visa gift card immediately and track the usage carefully. I just had another instance where a SER gift card was used fraudulently in California (I live in CT). Now waiting 15 days for a reissue to be sent.

Probably a good idea to register them if you don't plan to use them right away.

Registration is not foolproof (or should I say hackerproof)
Better to drain them immediately on the day you receive it.
I usually drain them on Amzon by topping up Amzon Gift card balance in my account.

It is the first time I am too seeing this offer repeated so soon.
Usually a VISA offer is followed by a MC offer and the cycle repeats after 6 months.
Maybe they have nothing else to get customers into the store as they have even made buying paper difficult with one coupon per transaction limit.

All Staples rebate cards are already pre-registered.

The ream coupon this week was for the HAMMERMILL reams, so no MM opportunity. However, since there's no Q involved, you CAN BUY 4 on  one order and get the .01 deal, and monetize about $31 in rewards.

VIVYIP, please, third request, list the rebate $ amounts in your posts, simply listing 1c after rebate doesn't assist with figuring out what the up front out of pocket amount is.

I think I did a Norton rebate a few months ago. Does Norton restrict rebates based on frequency or does this Easy Rebate negate any such limit?

Good ??, hopefully someone knows the answer. The last deal was in January 2017, so was in current calendar year.

You're talking about the $20 VISA rebate card you get right?  Not the actual $100 and $200 VISA cards you purchase?

rated:
All the Norton rebates that are now listed on the Staples website seem to be limit 1 per household, so there is a good chance the limit is going to be 1 on the rebate this time around.

I wouldn't base anything on that.  it was like that in January too.

There won't be a Q up Sunday to make the single ream paper a MM. just won't happen. it is always dependent on using a previous week Q on Sun/Monday when it's a Q for the same exact ream paper. When brands are flip fopped, the prior weeks Q is simply useless on the different brand.  Not sure why people are having a hard time understanding the ream issue, will not be  a MM this go round.

We could still have a coupon for the Blue half case to bring it to a buck,
we could still have a Hammermill single unannounced rebate and coupon,
and so on

Good ??, hopefully someone knows the answer. The last deal was in January 2017, so was in current calendar year.

 From the Symantec/Norton rebate website:

What if I buy other Norton products throughout the year? Is there a limit to how many Symantec rebates can I qualify for?
Symantec limits the amount of rebate requests across all Norton rebate promotions that are submitted per household or organization in a year to $250.

I will add, that both the rebates I have done through Staples and Newegg show up through tracking on that site.  So there is a good chance they are monitoring the total dollar amount per household.  Of course, if you can use another physical address and email, that subverts the limit.

Does anyone remember the rebate amount from the Symantec rebate in January? Wasn't it $39.99 each or something close to that? So given that you bought the limit of 3 last January and didn't get anymore rebates since then, you could easily get 3 more this time around (for an additional $60 in rebates) and still keep it well under the $250 max Symantec imposes.

Strange, the app has the ooupons up...and there's

0.01AC/R Staples ® Multipurpose Paper, 8 1/2" x 11", 500/Ream (513099-WH) with coupon code 60849 exp 5/27/17 I think this is for tuesday-saturday use, though.
9.99AC/R Hammermill Copy Plus 8.5" x 11" copy paper, case 122374 coupon code 25592

Darn ^_^ (I was really hoping for the coupon for the 5 ream, oh well. At least there was some kind of 9.99AC/R for 10 ream case...though it was a different brand. My prediction was off, but at least it's a nice surprise to see a coupon coming up for the ream paper later this week)

rated:
As I correctly predicted, the rebate on the Norton is limit 1. Of course, I also correctly predicted last week that the Hammermill 5 ream would be $1 AR/AC and not $2 like Mr. Cheap predicted. I hope this doesn't mean el cheapo is losing his mojo.

rated:
Just searched the stapleseasyrebates site for visa rebates and only 2 show up.

Last week's shows up as a SER however the 5/21-27 rebate is only showing up as a mail in rebate.

The site may still be updating but it also might explain why 2 offers in quick succession and the differences in how they seem to have been published.

I don't know if they will accept rebate submissions online even though the mail in rebates form suggests its possible.

UPDATE

Now both last week's and this weeks are showing up as mail in rebates....suggest checking before buying.

UPDATE 2

Both now showing as easy rebates, guess it was just the site updating.

Okay. You get the predictor of the week award.

rated:
FWIW, I think the hammermill ream has a new rebate this week, which if a person is willing to use the expired coupon, will still be 0.01AexpiredC/R courtesy of rebate offer 17-13731

Math tentatively comes out to 8.29 - 2.98(expired coupon) - 5.30(rebate ends 5/27)

On the other hand, the 5-ream expired coupon would result in the following:

30.99 - 4 (expired coupon) - 18 (rebate ends 5/27) = 8.99 (darn)

My guess is, this coupon won't be activated in their system til AFTER the 1c two day sale. it still won't be a money maker, you can try scanning it, and maybe get lucky, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

yes, you did. good job. Too bad though as it's always nicer to have limit 3 rebates to ramp up PREMIER spend and monetize rewards/gc's more easily.
