 but this deal is no great shakes.

each 50c off up to 20 glns is worth no more than $10, given most people with compact cars-mid size cars have anywhere from a 12-18 gallon gas tank, you'd be hard pressed to save anymore than $6-9 per fill up on common cars.

Even if you did max out on 20 gallons, that's a $40 savings total, paying $4 for a $50 restaurant.com gift card (which is no more than a chance to buy a $50 off $100 spend coupon) which would sell for $4 anyway with a common 80% off code on rest.com.

Plus you'd forfeit earning 5% on your gasoline purchase on many credit cards, and possibly over pay for your gas if SHELL isn't the cheapest station in your general area.
