Just tried it, free shipping actually worked without any tricks for once! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border=0>
[Q]4 (5 oz.)Filet Mignons 4 (5 oz.)Top Sirloins 4 (4 oz.)Boneless Pork Chops 2 (4.5 oz.)Stuffed Sole with Scallops and Crab 8 (3 oz.)Gourmet Franks 4 (4 oz.)Omaha Steaks Burgers 10 portions Potatoes au Gratin
Plus you get the 6 burgers, cutting board, and cutlery.
Edit: If you buy two sets, instead of free shipping you can use a $20 off coupon code. Thanks, GoldieATX and deal986. Edit by Moderator: Thank you for your participation. Please note that there is also discussion about this topic Here.
Try clearing your cache and trying again, maybe? It worked fine for me when I just tried again. If all else fails, their customer service has always been more than happy to give me free shipping if the links don't work. They've done it for me thrice now <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border=0>
I was going to get an order for my stepdad for his birthday coming up. It looked so delicious that I decided to get one for myself as well. So if you know someone in your city who likes steaks (or you want 16 pounds of meat for yourself), do this for optimum savings:
Find a coupon code for $20 off 75 on the web like here. Then follow OP's instructions and add one order for yourself, and then another for a gift. So you have two American Celebrations, each 59.99. Hit Checkout. Where you can choose the free gift, get the 6 burgers and cutlery on one of them, and then choose No Thanks on the other. That will allow you to use the discount code. So it should add up to $99.98 or so for 2 orders and one free gift. Now, so you only have to pay one shipping charge, change the gift to yourself. Now you should be getting 2 orders + free gift + $20 discount. Continue to checkout. It will charge you $16.99 for shipping (which is negated by the $20 discount), and you should have 16 delicious pounds of meat on your doorstep in a week for $116.97. That's what I call a deal. It was the best combination of deals I could put together. Woo meat!

this seems to be a popular deal with omaha - they had this for the holidays (christmas and new years) - same exact package deal for $59.99 --- not too shabby. but i'm not planning on ordering from them again for a while. the meat, while quite good, comes out to be quite costly as well. no matter how 'cheap' it is online. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border=0>

Never buy from spammers. Omaha had a huge spamming campaign years ago. For that reason I'll never purchase from them.

Free shipping no work and CSR wouldn't help. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border=0>

What's it saying when it doesn't work?
I tried it again and get this:
[Q]Standard Delivery - Your package will arrive in 7-10 business days or less from the day we receive your order. Please review the shipping and handling rate schedule.
Delayed Arrival Date: (mm/dd/yyyy) Your shipment will arrive on or after (NOT before) this date. (Leave blank for standard delivery)
[Q]Merchandise Total: $59.99 Shipping & Handling: $13.99 Taxes will be applied if applicable. Amount Due: $59.99 (this amount will be billed to your credit card)
It does display the $14 shipping fee there, but they don't charge you for it. That bug has been there for a long time.

My experience just now...
Followed the OP instructions to order 1 package w/free shipping...when I got to the confirm page it did not take off the shipping costs.
I then called customer service, gave the person my confirmation number. She first stated that the package I ordered was not an "internet order" and that the free shipping was for internet orders. I told her I ordered it over the internet. Her response was that the package number I ordered was a promotion from a mailing. I told her I was looking at the free shipping paragraph on the web page and nowhere does it say it has to be an internet order. Her response "Hold please" She transferred me to another CSR who asked me if I was requesting the shipping be removed from my order. I said "yes." She said, "OK, we'll credit the shipping to your card" Relatively painless...but now I have to remember to check my credit card statement next month (and I got both their names - just in case).

For those of you who can't get free shipping to work, does clearing your browser's history/cache/cookies help? I just tried another computer that hasn't been cookied at all with OS, and it worked fine.

I got this deal the last time and it ended up adding shipping....
Called and was told they could remove shipping but would cancel the free burgers and plastic cutlery....Oh well......
My MOM loved her steaks tho but the extra burgers would have been nice!!!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border=0>

Still, the burgers aren't worth the extra $14 if it comes down to that <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border=0>
After completing the order I was charged for the shipping. CS said they can not change that. The screen said $59.99 will be charged to the credit card but once everything is finished the shipping charges showed up as the total charge.

Omaha steaks are the Monster cable and Bose audios of their respective fields.
No specs on Monster cables and Bose equipment, just as there's no grade on the Omaha beef. We did this deal a few months ago and my wife and I were not impressed. We were were however impressed by our local butcher shop's same cuts of Prime grade beef.
I defy you to get an answer from these guys as to what grade their beef actually is. I would guess it's no better than Choice at the most. It's certainly not Prime. Then again, maybe the pricing is right for Choice.

"Unfortunately, the brand most people turn to when ordering steak through the mail took the last two spots in our tasting. The Omaha strip steak had "off flavors" and was "grainy tasting," while the Omaha Private Reserve (at almost twice the price) finished last, with tasters finding it "a little chewy" and "very dry."
Well, all I know is that these steaks are the best I've had at home, and are almost as good as some of the steaks I've gotten at some great steakhouses in Chicago.
This place has such a crazy unreasonable hate for OS.

Steak and Shake and Ponderosa's doesn't count.
Seriously, you're telling me the OS stuff is as good as Lawry's and Ruth's Chris's? I'd have sent those steaks back then. OS is nowhere near Prime quality. As you can see, it's not just FW that is critical of OS. I'd say that OS is about on par with the Applebees and Fridays of the world (if that).

Thats the problem with omaha...They just charge you differant amounts after the fact....
I dont mind something getting cancelled because of code abuse or PM but getting charged more than you agreed too when checking out is totally wrong in my book.....<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border=0>
I got this deal the last time because my MOM really likes their stuff but will hesitate in the future seeing CS was really RUDE when trying to get the shipping charge removed....
This deal is warm at best but I would concider it HOT if being judged by other deals offered by omaha.... Way overpriced in my opinion!!

Three reasons NOT to order from Omaha Steaks: 1) You'll end up on every mail order/marketing list and also get SPAM in your email 2) The steaks are no better than Choice, making them priced about double what they should be! 3) They play tricks w/their pricing, it should be a clear order with no worry about shipping when you used a FREE shipping coupon. Very disappointed in such trickery
Find a good local steakhouse, maybe pick up a coupon, and have a good night out for about the same price as the Omaha Steaks. Believe me, you'll get more for your value and enjoy a perfectly prepared steak. If you live around Clearwater or Tampa, FL check out Sam Seltzer's steakhouse. An amazing place, I can't get enough of their perfect steaks. Mouth watering & delicious always.

Ok I've got a new plan for you guys who want these steaks. Similar to my 2-order deal, except this time, you can get just one for $58.98 shipped.
Use a $15 off $50 code like this one Follow OP's instructions (order from a mailing, add item 7819bbb). But here's the trick to get $15 off and freebies: Add one item for yourself, and one for a gift. Then proceed to checkout. When given the chance, change one of the items from "Free 6 burgers, etc" to "No, thanks." The $15 discount should now be applied. Now you can delete the extra item that was a gift. Your order should now contain the 6 burgers and knives as well as $15 off. So when shipping is added, it should come to about $59. So if free shipping codes don't work for you, this will help with that, and even save you a buck.
Merchandise Total: $59.99 Shipping & Handling: $13.99 Taxes will be applied if applicable. //Note: taxes aren't really applied, it seems Discount Applied: -$15.00 Amount Due: $58.98 (this amount will be billed to your credit card)
I got my 2 orders last week and I haven't had a chance to try them yet, but it all looks delicious, and the pile of meat in my freezer is just plain awesome. I was bored and tried to see if I could make it cheaper than I got it. I would imagine the same would work if you got 2. Just add 3 of them, apply the $20 discount, then get rid of one of them. Then you could have 2 orders, plus 12 free burgers and 2 knife sets, all for $116? Oh well. Meat meat meat.
