DCSR - Dell Customer Service Rocks!

I have yet to see this one used. Use with caution. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>Thanks FYI

Worry is like a rocking chair........
It keeps you busy but gets you nowhere<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

AFAIK - as far as I know
BTW - by the way
UPS - United Parcel Service
USPS - United States Postal Service

I've seen "IIRC" before too...what does that mean?

If I Recall Correctly....

<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> Welcome all new members! As you have already seen, we have an awesome Chief that does everything he can to make FW a better place! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0>

Is there any purpose or incentive for posting to the "New and Expiring Offers" thread each day?

not currently - although we might do another promotion there someday - right now it is just "for fun"

<sarcasm>And fun it is <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif"border=0> </sarcasm>

Sounds great. Hopefully I'll remember these abbreviations. Sounds alot like when I was doing rebating a few yrs back. Joel

How long is somebody listed as a new member?

In your Welcome to the FatWallet forumletter, mention reading this thread and using Helpwhen first joining and later when looking for an answer.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

When it says 'new member', 'member', 'senior member' under the name, does that go by how long they've been a member or is it how many times they've posted? Also I would like to know when you go from one level to the next. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif"border=0>

I didn't see this listed here (maybe because it's use is not encouraged) but I'm assuming OT means "off topic."

glowworm -
u are correct in your assumption. OT does stand for off topic.

tim -
great post...hopefully people will read it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

I love here!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Would someone be kind enough to explain when it is appropriate to bump a thread? It seems it is done by replying without adding new information to move the thread up on the list.

Also, when is it appropriate to repost?
TIA for the help! This is a wonderful site <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

Thanks for the info. I feel at home already.

<< My job is secure. Nobody else wants it. >>

even members need help once and a-while

I feel funny, because I think this is more of a private joke than an abbreviation, but what does w00t mean? There's alot of w00ting going on in Off Topic right now...

I know you can go OT in any forum, but I thought there was an OT Forum by itself? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif"border=0>

w00t! is a geek exclamation (insert w00h00! in to this category as well)

You have to be logged on to be able to view the Off Topic category.

That helps a bit.

this post was SO helpful...
because i didn't understand so many of the acronyms ... although i've been around for several months now
