Ballistic nylon-covered molded sleeve for 12" or 14" laptops -- I personally have the XM, which fits 14" iBooks and my Thinkpad T-series (T43p) very, very well. These sleeves runs close to $50.00-$60.00 normally (search on froogle), so IMO $4.49 is a great deal at nearly 90% off. Shipping was pretty hefty for me to NY ($9.46), but $13.95 total for a sleeve like this is a pretty great deal. This ain't no neoprene sleeve; it's very rugged, and allowed me to slip my Thinkpad into my backpack for entire days of travel to and fro with no damage at all.

Check the dimensions on your notebook -- I know it says iBook/Powerbook, but again, the XM fits my Thinkpad T-series quite well, and a friend of mine has the XS on his Thinkpad X31.
XM -- 14" iBook or similar (confirmed to fit IBM T-series)

Hey. You're right. IE didn't show my order but FireFox did. The weird thing is that it says "Subtotal 9.98 Discount -1.00 Tax 0.82 blah blah blah Total 12.50". How did it come up with $12.50? Can't be shipping since that's $10.

I doubt it since its just a sleeve not a case, its only designed to protect the actual laptop.

I am in for 1, I hope that it will fit since my laptop is an extra .1" wider than the sleeve.

xm - yes (but a little big)
xs - no (tad bit small)
xxs - no (definitely not)

When I googled this, the user reported trying to use an XS for the 700m but could not get it to fit at all. He then said he tried the XM, which he said fit pretty well with the adapter and cables - but by the looks of the dimension, w/o adapter and cables it is quite a bit larger.

must resist....$9 s/h has me on the fence, unless someone can tell me how much better this vyper case is compared to the $80 waterfield case (neoprene wrapped in ballistic nylon) i bought for my 12" powerbook (which i hardly take out with me to even warrant having/buying a case).

My fujitsu is (10.28" x 7.83" x 1.26"/1.43") so it's just a tad too big on he height for the 10.9"x8.6"x1.18" and a tad too small for the 11.2"x9.1"x1.4".

If I get the XS, will the extra room cause the laptop to move around too much? Has anyone every padded these on their own? I have always wanted a Vyper...
