Got it to work ... not sure if if the following forced discount or I just lucked out .....

This will be a TWO screen process.
1st ... Select 1x pink (not available), but do it anyway.
Proceed through all screens, but STOP before confirmation screen (do not close).
2nd ... Open ANOTHER new screen and select Red OR Black.
Proceed through process.
(when offered - be sure to select screen which includes shopping cart AND enter promotion code).
Before you get to confirmation screen, both items should be on your 2nd acreen, "Remove the Pink" selection.
Your $10 discount should still display for a Item COST of $19.99 +shipping, +tax (WI for me).

I'm wondering the same thing - is it durable?

We bought a similar set about 5 years ago for around $180. Although the luggage seems to fall apart quite easily, JCP has always switched it out without any hassle. Back when we bought it, there was a 10 year warranty -- the newest sets are now only 5 year warranty. If you are willing to take the chance on a breakage during travel and put up with the swaps, this is a great deal. After our 5th time (around 15 round-trips over 5 years) we decided we had had enough. We were disappointed that the new set no longer had a 10 year warranty; however when JCP rang up the credit it came up to $300 which they gave us in a form of a gift card. I felt this was justified compensation for what must now be a lower grade luggage. Hope this helps.
