Just cant really stand seeing the concussions. I don't watch NHL games for a similar reason. I hate the fighting that breaks out. People say it is part of the game. It is only part of the game because we allow it to be part of the game. Just like we allow concussions to be "part of the game". Sad, if not stupid. When American ingenuity falls back on the phrase "it is part of the game" instead of coming forth with real changes that save athletes from themselves and others, that is truly a sad (if not stupid) day in American ingenuity.
Olympic hockey has virtually no fighting and it is pure hockey skill and strategy on display at its best. Wish NHL could embrace that style of sport.
