Down 48-13 with 2 minutes to go till the end.
Rutgers did not show up at all.
This is embarrassing.
It's not like we're playing Alabama or something like that. Or even Michigan/Ohio State. This is freaking middle of the road Washington.
Ugh.

A quote from Forbes back in 2012 January
Forbes said: In a more education-focused college football world, the national championship would be determined by a combination of BCS and APR rankings. That would get the attention of athletic directors. If such a model were in place this year, Stanford and Clemson would be heading down to New Orleans for the national championship game, not LSU and Alabama. If the national championship simply featured the two Bowl-eligible schools with the highest APR’s, the championship game would pit Northwestern (993) against Rutgers (988).

Well.. if you want to talk football APR's..
Alabama Football has a 2011-2015 multiyear APR of 902.. 2014-2015 one year APR of 932.. which is 1-10th percentile overall of all football programs. Overall Football Bowl Subdivision average is 964. (http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/apr2015/7_2015_apr.pdf

Rutgers Football has a 2011-2015 multiyear APR of 972.. 2014-2015 one year APR of 948.. which is 70th-80th percentile overall of all football programs. Overall Football Bowl Subdivision average is 964.http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/apr2015/587_2015_apr.pdf

ETA: Forgot to mention.. 85 students get football scholarships each year.. but only 44 alabama players have been drafted by NFL since 2010. The rest? Who knows. They have their degree for their future. A degree that's in the bottom 10th percentile of people with similar college background.

ETA 2: This isnt football. These 18-22 year old STUDENTS aren't getting paid for it (well.. maybe they are in SEC nation.. who knows). They are students who play football.
It's sickening how many of these colleges down south consider college football as "real" football.. and as their religion.. and put these student's football before their education.. education which will help them for their entire future.. unlike football which has a limit of like 15 years.. and that is if you get drafted by some NFL team.
