Sprint/Boost Phone unlock delays

Tried to purchase an unlock service for my Boost phone. Seller says there have been global delays for all trying to unlock phones from the Sprint network- so no matter who I use I will experience delays. Yesterday he cancelled/refunded my order as it had still not processed in 2 weeks.

Anyone else hear about this? Should I just use a different seller or does anyone know of a workaround so I can bring my boost phone to a different network (trying to get to T-Mobile). Don't want to spend another 2 weeks trying another unlock service if im just going to run into the same issues.

This was 100% on the seller btw- the phone I have is completely new, in the original packaging- it is not blacklisted or financed. 100% paid for and has not yet been opened or turned on.

I have not heard. Have you got your phone unlocked yet? I only notice the premium unlock service costs $70 now.

I found this from last year, that Boost and TMo are not compatible.
Perhaps the situation has changed since then?
