Qbid is worse than Vegas.
I was searching for "how to read books on ipod touch" when I came across an advt. of Qbid bidding of an Ipod touch for $0.85. I got interested and registered. I thougt this would be like eBay. (After Qbid, I know the goodness of eBay). On Qbid you have to buy credits before you bid and the minimum is $24. The bidding goes in increments of 5cents and after every bid the time goes up. All the bids lost means credits lost and in a matter of mnutes you will lose all the credits. I have seen for a single Ipod, the bidding can go upto to more than $100 and so while Qbid makes 1000's on a single Ipod. That is money lost for the bidder. Thay should have adverted it as a gambling site.
Before you go ahead Watch out...for a little you will loose a lot more. I place this in FW because this is a place where you get stuff for low prices etc. I would not like people to lose their money.
