This is really cool. The Note 7 has an iris scanner that logs you in and locks others out. It is also used to identify you so you don't need to worry about passwords any longer. This should be quite useful if the phone is stolen. I wonder how long it will take hackers to find a work around.

Police can use biometrics to unlock your phone.  They cannot compel you to give up a password.  For now, anyway.

You mean they can tell you to unlock your phone with biometric locks, or they have a way to unlock it?

You mean they can tell you to unlock your phone with biometric locks, or they have a way to unlock it?

  They can compel you to do it.  Passwords are legally protected, biometrics are not.
