Will someone please let me know if Dallas area Wendy's are participating?

Thanks so much

Big negative in DFW. The closest I found was Texarkana.

Tampa, FL has them.

Awesome promotion.

Cause your not hardcore
(no your not hardcore)
Unless you live hardcore
And the legend of the rent was way past duuuue!

ok so i finally looked up what a #10 envelope is and it's just a regular sized buisness envelope like your bank statement comes in! I cannot see getting more than 20 or so in one of these :-/ Quite a clever hinderance they came up with i would say
staples

Actually 64 do fit nice! I did 2 pile of 32 and rubberbanded them. I placed them in the envelope side by side. It doesnt allow for much sliding and it makes it thick enough so you can use delivery confirmation! (first class has to be 3/4 inches thick to purchase dc)

I actually called AirTran on this #10 envelope issue and they told me I could send a larger envelope. Hope they weren't lying.

Confirmed, any size envelope is fine.

Looks like the eBay floodgates have opened. Let's just keep our fingers crossed these idiots don't ruin it for us.

why are they not doing this in california

Wendy wants you to stay where you are

Wow, fleabay really going!

So if I can buy, legally, legitimately 128 coupons/drinks at Wendys for $160, why would someone pay $400 on eBay?

Not to mention killing this promo......

anyone know if wendy's in NYC are doing this promotion?

All my kids are under 18, and all have had Airtran Aplus accounts for years. Nowhere does the airline ask age in either the APlus sign-up or the actual reservation. The only way to identify minors is by making a 4 person reservation at once. So I will make 2 reservations: with my points and my daughter's points, and my wife will make resevations with her points and my son's points. No dumpster diving and no bribery and almost up to 128 on my way to 640

LoL, that's my Wendy's but I haven't hit it yet. Aparrently there's a few FWers in the area.

What about paying the taxes for those reservations? I read that they address match the credit card to person whose account the reservations are being made from. Most children dont have credit cards so how does that work for you?

Both reservations go on one cc. There is no problem. You do both tix at once.

I have a question. For those of you who have already been credited, how long did it take from the time you sent them in to the time you received credit? The website says 6 weeks, but from what I'm reading, it seems like it has been less for some people. I'm looking to fly out around the first of the year, so it would be good news to me if you guys have been receiving credit in less than 6 weeks! Many thanks.

got mine

Cosmod said: [Q]Just got mine! I had two drive 2 hours for the closest store which I found by calling the customer service number. The manager caught me in the dumpster and said she was "gonna call the law" if I came back but I already had my limit. By the way.... It was really gross and I'm not sure I will ever be able to eat at Wendys again. lol

Were you dumpster diving in broad daylight or something?

Good Deal for the flight. Thanks OP

It was dark but the drive-thru was open. It was even behind a fence. Nobody could see us back there. The guy came out to empty the trash and I'm guessing he told the manager. I asked him if it was a problem and he said he didn't care but she sure did. I could care less at this point. I have what I need, so do my two best friends!

Anyone know if the medium Frosty comes in the cup w/the cert?

Large frosty only I am pretty sure

Yeah, has to be at least a large. Got a medium last night - regular cup. Frostys are one size 'down' in cups.......

hmmm
can i open a rewards account in my dogs name so he can travel for free???

does anyone know if there is a benefit to redeeming the points for flight vouchers now or waiting? are the points or vouchers transferrable? i wanted to redeem now to feel more safe about the promotion, seeing how many auctions there are on eBay..

stupid moderation...booo!

also, since we need 20 points in 90 days to qualify for elite, does that work for these cups too? i wouldn't mind the free upgrades to business class

no, you actually have to pay for a flight for it to count for that

You would think that would make them suspect something. How is someone going to get a bunch of cups on the first day of the program, unless he only submitted a few cups? I just sent in a few today, so let's see how long it takes.

Well, I guess the New York City locations wised up...they raised the prices of the medium drinks from $1.09 to $1.19 and the biggie drinks from $1.39 to $1.59! Glad I finished up on Monday and sent them in already. Let's see how long it takes to post to my Airtran Rewards account...

I ordered a biggie water last night and they asked if I wanted that in a biggie cup??? HUH??????????? So I laughed and said "well what else would you put it in ?" The kid said if they put it into 3 smalls then its free but if I want the biggie cup then its going to be $1.59" So I had them put some soda in the cup for that price! ( I should add that I was there with the entire family, all 7 of us and had ordered an ample amount of food and beverages. Total bill was 26.00 and they still wanted to charge me for a water!)

Give me a break!!!!!!

Thats purely Wendys and not AirTran! but I think it stinks in a non consumer friendly kind of way.

why didn't you just take the 3 small waters? seems fair to me - they probably have to buy the big cups from Wendy's corporate.

Because a biggie cup is much easier to carry when you already have 3 trays of food!!!

Scored 128 cups in Skokie, IL, for $130.39. The manager charged me for only 110 cups; I guess her math was bad. After buying the cups, she suggested dumpster diving. I laughed and kept my dignity.

I'm still deciding whether to keep the coupons or sell them. With this promotion, you still have to pay taxes on flights, which adds up. Taxes on flights to the Bahamas and Cancun are over $100. Even domestic taxes are ~$70. The promotion is still a deal, but far from "free."

I also checked availability of flights before buying the cups, because free tickets are subject to capacity controls on top of blackout dates. March dates from Chicago to warm destinations were still open.

Also, AirTran still does not know when flights to Cancun will begin. They pushed back the Dec 15 date indefinetly due to the hurricane.

I'm quite interested in this deal, although it seems that I'm the last one to know it.
I just have a simple question: how much will all the taxes and fees be for a round trip? Anyone got some idea?

Every fast food place has drinks as their highest-margin items. Giving you a free Biggie cup would be tantamount to giving you a free Biggie drink, as you would be able to get drink refills after you're done with the water. Same reason no movie theater employee would give you a soda cup for water even if you plop down $26 for popcorn and so candy...

I ALWAYS get a biggie water! I never get refills. I dont allow my children to get refills. Regardless, my point was........ THIS IS A NEW POLICY!!!!!!!! sheesh....

I don't suppose anyone has found these ANYWHERE near (ie closest location) Pittsburgh, PA have they?

I'm up to 40 cups. I'm thinking of just asking to buy the cups (sans drink) and be done with it.
